As Senior Vice President of Human Resources at esVolta, Lizette leads the company’s people strategy, overseeing all facets of HR, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee engagement, and the cultivation of esVolta’s remote-first culture. Her leadership ensures that the company attracts, develops, and retains top-tier talent in a competitive, fast-evolving energy landscape.
With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Lizette brings a unique blend of operational, contractual, and people-focused expertise to her role. Prior to joining esVolta, she held senior positions at Southern California Edison (SCE), where she was instrumental in structuring and negotiating complex energy contracts across renewable energy, energy storage, and conventional power. Her work supported SCE’s commitment to sustainability and innovation while managing regulatory compliance and cost recovery for over $4 billion in procurement expenses annually. Lizette's deep industry knowledge and strategic mindset make her a trusted partner across the business, helping shape esVolta’s growth through a strong, people-centered foundation.
Lizette holds a degree in Business from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Human Resource Management at USC.
